Our First Ever Summer Carnival

The weather may not have got the memo, but that didn’t stop the BBP community enjoy the Park’s first Summer Carnival.

On the 11th June colleagues gathered around the main lake for an afternoon of entertainment, carnival fun and street food.

Street food vendors Leave it to Esmie, Hunger and Chimney Cake Co served up Latin BBQ to Caribbean jerk bowls to ice cream-filled chimney cakes.

Across the afternoon, samba drummers and dancers performed by the lakeside, while stilt walkers, circus entertainers and bubble artists. Visitors also took on a range of carnival games, including the High Striker, Coconut Shy, Limbo and the Buzzer, with no shortage of friendly competition between colleagues.

Most of all, it was the people who made it. Seeing so many members of the Park come together and embrace the day, rain and all, is exactly what events like this are about.

Thank you to everyone who attended, and to all the performers and vendors who brought it to life.
