Come along for a well earned movement break. 20 minutes of flowing yoga guaranteed to leave you feeling energised and rejuvenated.

What does it involve? We’ll be using a range of postures specifically chosen to combat physical issues arising from sitting at the desk and finishing with a moment of relaxation.

What do I need? Clothes you can move in, a yoga mat if you have one (but some will be provided)

Everybody welcome! No experience needed, just a desire to move and feel better!

Our Community Litter Pick is a fantastic opportunity to come together, meet new people, and help create a cleaner, greener environment for everyone. Whether you're passionate about the environment or just want to give back, your efforts can have a big impact.
 

What to Expect:

  • We'll kick off the event with a brief introduction and safety guidelines.
  • Teams will be provided with gloves, bags, and litter pickers.
  • Spread out across designated areas in the community to collect litter.

Who Can Join: Everyone is welcome - individuals, families, community groups, and businesses. No prior experience is needed, just a willingness to help out!

What to Bring:

  • Comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes.
  • A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.

Come along to our Menopause Café taking place 1pm-2pm at Birmingham Business Park in Solihull! We meet at the Management Office at the Business Park.

Meet like minded people, chat about all things menopause over a cuppa tea or coffee, share your experiences! This is an open meeting for people of all genders to come and chat about all things peri and post menopause related.

The aim is to break the taboo and increase awareness of the impact of the menopause transition on those experiencing it, their family, friends and their colleagues.

Lunch is provided, so booking is essential! Allergies are not catered for.

Led by Polly Wright, ‘Reading for Wellbeing’ is all about sharing the pleasure of reading aloud good stories, novel extracts, and poetry, which prompt discussions about the relationship of their themes with people’s lives, and our feelings about the behaviour of main characters. Most of all, though, it’s a way of getting to know people, through a love of literature.

You won’t need to bring anything – all material is provided. Hot drinks and lunch will also be available.

Join us for an hour of fun and gardening on our community allotment. This event is perfect for anyone who loves gardening or wants to learn more about growing their own food.

We'll start the session with a tour of the allotment, where you'll learn about the different plots and what's currently growing. Our knowledgeable experts from Nurture Landscapes will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Throughout the day, there will be plenty of opportunities to socialise with other members of the allotment club and make new gardening friends. We'll even throw in a FREE lunch and drink.

Meet the Bees

Meet the Bees

Time: 11.30am - 2.00pm - one hour sessions
Venue: Beehives next to Main Lake
We’re inviting our businesses to take part in this unique opportunity to join us for a ‘meet the bees’ session at our beehives with our local beekeepers. During the session, you’ll get to wear a beekeeper suit, find out what our honeybees do and why they’re so special. The beekeeping experience is led by Dave Taylor from our Landscaping Team at Nurture Landscapes.

Please note that all participants are required to wear sensible (closed toe) shoes and the sessions are not suitable for anyone who is allergic to bee stings.

 Our sustainable wreath-making event is back for 2025! Get festive, learn a new skill, meet your neighbours, and create a beautiful Christmas wreath to bring home with you! Our landscaping team, Nurture, will host the relaxed one-hour workshop where you and your team will be shown step-by-step how to make your own unique wreath. Tickets are £10 with all proceeds going direct to our partnered charity, Birmingham Hospice.
