It’s not every Thursday that lunchtime includes Cockapoo cuddles, fish and chips by the lake, and an ice cream in the sunshine.
Last Thursday, that’s exactly what the BBP community enjoyed.
As temperatures climbed, the puppies were safely kept cool inside the Park Management Hub, where they spent the afternoon greeting visitors, enjoying plenty of fuss and, after all the excitement, sneaking in the occasional well-earned nap.
Outside, Smith’s was serving up its ever-popular fish and chips, while the ice cream van quickly became one of the busiest spots by the Main Lake. With the sunshine making an appearance, it was the ideal way to spend a summer lunchtime with colleagues.
It was one of those afternoons that reminded us that some of the best moments at BBP happen away from meetings and emails. Just colleagues enjoying good food, good company and, for one afternoon at least, a few very popular four-legged visitors.
