We're Hiring! Assistant Park Manager
Reporting to the Park Management we are looking for a confident, well presented, proactive individual who shows initiative and is keen to learn. Experience in Property or Facilities Management would be beneficial, however passion and enthusiasm as well as a positive work ethic are essential for this role.
Principal Objective
- To assist the Park Manager, in dealing with all operational, matters representing Workman and the client, Birmingham Business Park Management Ltd.
- To provide a Customer Service interface on the Business Park or properties for which the Park Management team is responsible for.
- Assist the Marketing, Community & Business Development Manager in promoting and delivering placemaking initiatives helping to add value to the site, increasing tenant engagement, and helping to coordinate and facilitate community and charity events.
- Supporting the Park Management team in the day to day running of the Business Park and Park office including an element of front of house duties such as (but not limited to):
- Answering the phone and dealing with tenant enquiries
- Resolving in person tenant enquiries / issuing keys and permits to contractors in line with the company policy
- Signing in visitors
- Providing administrative assistance to the Park Manager, including (but not limited to):
- Updating and managing spreadsheets
- Filing
- Raising work orders
- Updating the Health & Safety database
- Stationery orders
- Updating of the Business Park website as required
- Making arrangements for meetings and VIP visits including ordering lunches and setting up meeting rooms.
- To help, coordinate and support any events on the Park including, but not limited to, tenant engagement events, community and charity events.
- Ensuring that all marketing materials are up to date and correctly displayed.
- Assisting the Park Manager and property management team with park and property inspections. Carrying out regular inspections to ensure that the services are delivered properly and that the Park and Buildings are well presented and noting any maintenance and health and safety issues.
- Understand Health and Safety responsibilities and regulations and report any issues as required in line with company policy.
- Any other duties as required.
- Ability to establish good working relationships with peers, tenants, the property management team, key suppliers and client representatives.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience using Microsoft software including Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Some experience in facilities or park management or a similar role is preferrable.

Salary: Competitive
Hours: 25 hours per week to be worked on-site 5 days a week
